My New Year’s Resolutions List
I hope everyone has a Happy New Year! It’s never been a tradition to make a resolution, but I thought this year would be appropriate to make a New Year’s Resolution list. A lot has happened, meaning I’ve started a few projects this year. Before the holidays I kept hitting mind blocks. That little voice in my head saying “you’ll never be anything” rose to the highest possible volume. Like everyone, I have self-doubt sometimes. But, you have to power through and let the &#@t go. So, I’m headed into the New Year with high hopes and a positive attitude. Everyone has flaws, but fortunately there is always room for improvement. I wanted to share with you guys my real New Year’s Resolution.
#1. No More Self-Doubt
Success doesn’t happen overnight for anyone. Getting where you want to go, takes time and effort. And it’s hard to stay focused when you compare yourself to everyone else. I’m replacing every negative thought with positivity and hope.
#2. End of Procrastination
Sometimes I feel like I can’t handle it all and give quality effort at the same time. This year, I vow to give 1000% effort into all the things that are important to me. If you don’t do things you love, you will not have a purpose.
#3 Spend Time With Loved Ones
I don’t exactly mean blood relatives either. I have the most amazing roommates, who have helped me through some rough times. It seems like I have taken them for granted, so in 2017 I’m promising my “family” that I will make an effort to show my love in return.
#4 Workout & Clean My Diet
I have been slacking on my fitness journey lately. I’m going to commit myself to getting my body right as well as my mind. One healthy habit always lead to the next. Just like one action begins with a thought. So, this year I’m doing to be all about my health inside and out. I want to be able to spread fitness motivation, and at the end of the day it starts with me.
