Detoxifying Charcoal & Black Sugar Mud Mask Review
I must say that I liked this one better than the Freemans dead sea mask. You can visibly see the dirt and oil rise to the top of the facial mask as it dries. I wouldn’t recommend this to people with overly sensitive skin only because it instantly feels warm when you apply it. Also, don’t leave it on for more than 10 minutes. I think I left it on for an extra 2 minutes and my skin started to itch.
Reading other reviews on this mask, I expected to see tiny granules of sugar in the mask, but the texture was thin and almost runny. It could be because I bought the sample size instead of the bottle.
Although the package says it’s for normal to combination skin types, I feel like this mask would be great for people who suffer from acne breakouts or tend to get oily. I also used a little product as a lip scrub by scrubbing it around the dead skin like you would a normal exfoliant. My skin was definitely brighter and smoother after the first application. I actually used a blemish extractor before I decided to put on my mask, and I even noticed all the redness on my face from the extractor tool was reduced.
What’s your favorite facial mask?
